Sunriver offers plenty for the entire family.  There are 2 swimming pool complexes, over 30 miles
of bike and walking trails, numerous tennis courts, a park, horseback riding, nature center and observatory, three Sunriver golf courses, a day spa,  and the Sunriver Village Mall which offers a variety of restaurants and shopping.  Our home is just a short walk to the Deschutes River where you can enjoy activites ranging from fishing to rafting and kayaking, or enjoy a lazy float down the river!

Just outside the resort you will find almost endless activities to enjoy.  Some of the winter activities include ice skating, cross country skiing, snowshoeing, tubing, snowmobiling, and sleding.  Mt. Bachelor is just 18 miles away where you can enjoy skiing and snowboarding, cross county skiing, snowshoeing, and sled dog rides.  Summer activities are also almost endless where you can enjoy activities such as hiking, road and mountain biking, dirt bike or ATV riding, white water rafting,  and rock climbing at Smith Rock State Park.  You may also want to visit Lava Butte and the Lava Caves Park located just north of Sunriver.  Located a few miles north of Sunriver is the High Desert Museum which is a great visit any time of year.

Sunirver is only 15 miles south of Bend which offers several fine dining and shopping opportunities.

Smith Rock is a world renowned rock climbing destination, known as the birthplace of rock climbing in America.
